What is district0x?
It is powered by Aragon, Ethereum and IPFS (Interplanetary File System). By design, these districts are designed to as act as marketplaces and communities together exist as Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO) on the DistrictOx network. The platform’s main objective is to actively deploy these districts (marketplace)-which uses auxiliary plugins for feature implementation and functionality enhancement- to the network without charging any fees.
DOXINFRA, a group of smart contracts and front-end libraries-powers the district’s features and is perfectly distributed within the IPFS system.
The token used to facilitate the participation and ensure development of the network is DNT (District Network Token) which is built using ERC20 standards. It’s a multi utility token which users will have to own for the application to the District Registry.
The token can be staked giving districts voting rights but unlike other networks, there are no rewards for staking DNT on any district.
