About IOStoken

IOST is a comprehensive ecosystem for businesses and developers to innovate and discover new ideas. It won’t matter the scale. IOST has a powerful consensus engine called Proof of Believability (POB) and a dynamic sharding protocol called Efficient Distributed Sharding (EDS). POB guarantees that nodes have negligible probability to fail while significantly increasing the transaction throughput.

EDS benefits underlying blockchain networks by reducing the transaction processing load on each validator and increasing the processing capacity in accordance with the increase of new participants in the network. IOST aims to make decentralized services with large transaction volume possible.
