About Lisk
Lisk was introduced on August 22, 2016, by Max Kordek and Oliver Beddows. Lisk started as a fork from Crypti through an ICO that raised 14,000BTC. Lisk is used as a platform to help create smart contracts without the need for gas. Instead of gas being paid to miners for using that smart contract, fees are paid to decentralized application devs.
Lisk has a 10 second block time with 4 Lisk coins rewarded through the top 101 active delegates. The default fee is set to 0.1 Lisk per transaction but can be changed manually.
