About Ark
Ark was introduced in 22 March 2017 from Ark core team which consists of 11 co-founders. Ark is not a cryptocurrency, it is an ecosystem for cryptocurrencies. Ark provides a platform that increases user adoption of blockchain technology. Ark uses delegated proof of stake system where delegated vote on the block and transactions that are written on the blockchain. Ark is built as a derivative from Bitshares, Crypti and, Lisk and updated proof of stake consensus. It has an 8 second block time with 2 Ark reward per block created and 50 transactions per block. The default fee is set to 0.1 Ark per transaction but can be changed manually. Ark can have up to 8 transactions per second.
